I have the same problem sleeping away from home. I just resign myself to the fact that I won't be sleeping hardly at all while away. It really sucks. I even take Benadryl which works at home....but not when away. Last time I slept away, I took one of my pillows from home and that did help some. I think it is just the different bed and atmosphere and sounds, etc. that through us off our sleep pattern.
Xanax probablly would help but if you are trying to get pregnant don't use it. I was also going to suggest Ambien sleeping pills which have helped many people but again probably not while you might be pregnant.
