Hi All, I've been reading the boards all morning. I was hoping that someone could lend their opinion. I've had two 'attacks' of what seems to be IBS. The doctors were of no help and their best guess was that I 'might' have an ulcer. This seemed highly unlikely since I was only 23 when I had my first attack. I was put on a regimen of Zantac and gradually my symptoms (all IBS symptoms) faded away. It took 3 months and I lost a lot of weight, but I seemed to recover fully and lived as if it had never happened. Two years have passed and suddenly I seem to be having another onset of the symptoms. I am fairly certain that this bout was triggered by anxiety. I was simply wondering if this sounds like anything people here suffer from. From what I have read, everyone here seems to be symptomatic all the time unless sticking to a strict diet etc. Thanks for your insight.
