Ah, the joys of both D and C!

The thing with IBS-A is that you have to be really careful with yourself so that you can keep balanced between the C and the D.

Do NOT take laxatives. Do NOT take large doses of Immodium. For the future, I'd suggest you ask for a prescription for liquid Loperamide (Immodium) - it does exist even if your GP hasn't heard of it - and then take a small dose EVERY day. Taking a small dose as a preventative really helped me to stabilise.

Upping your Acacia dose is a really good idea. Drinking Coke is NOT a good idea - be really careful or you'll just start swinging from C to D and back again.

For now, I find veggies get me going. Have some insoluble fibre veggies (broccoli is good I think) after some soluble fibre. Eat some dried fruit. That kind of thing. Blueberries are hard to get in this country - we only get them fresh for a few months and they're pretty expensive.

Hope this helps.
