Are peppermint and spearmint the same?       05/21/04 10:37 AM Edit Reply Quote Stephie Reged: 03/10/04 Posts: 2696 Loc: Vancouver, Canada Hi, I was just wondering if peppermint and spearmint are basically the same thing as my boyfriend brought home some mint and cammomile mixed tea, but it's spearmint. I drank some the other night, and it was lovely but I was really bloody sick the next day (which might have been a million other reasons, I can't blame the tea).
