..okay I've probably asked this before, but, does anyone know how to get enough protein if you don't feel like eating meat, being on this diet. I know I get extremely gassy so I'm afraid of beans and stuff, which are what most people eat for protein who don't eat meat, right? Also, how much protein do I need a day? Is a cup of soy milk enough? Sorry for being a pain for asking this again! I just want to make sure I'm getting enough of everything I need to be eating. Like today so far for breakfast I had some bread (Heather's baguette recipe) with a little honey for a snack I had some of Heather's Brown Sugar Banana Bread (yum!) with a cup of warm soy milk (it was the kind with added vitamins) Then for my next snack/meal I used Mags' idea for using a tortilla to make tortilla chips, and I used that with some rice I had made a while back w/ a little chile powder and oregano, and some of Heather's guacamole (minus the cilantro), and a little of Heather's mango tomato salsa stuff. And it's 4pm here. That's not too bad, right? I'm doing better, right? So, back to my question...what to do for the protein? I was trying to find protein powder. Do you think that's the best way for me? Thanks! Hope you're doing well. Sorry I haven't posted much..I've been pretty tired.
