Re: Maybe i havent got ibs at all??       05/06/04 08:09 AM Edit Reply Quote Gurgle Reged: 05/02/04 Posts: 19 Loc: South West UK Hi Well, ive not had any internal examinations. but my doctor has prescripbed me Antispasmodic drugs to take before i eat,after i gave him my symptoms. My history includes 6years of panic attacks and anxiety,and the ibs is new. Some days i have what i would call "normal bowel function". other days im "loose".. and sometimes i cant go at all! but theres no pattern. i could eat exactly the same thing over a few days and my bowel would produce something different everyday! This is whats making me think that i trigger the changes myself by causing the "upset" by stress from anxiety? If i go to the toilet and im having a bad day, "loose movements".. i tend to find myself having a panic attack.. and it becomes worse. If i didnt panic and told myself it was normal to have this occasionally.. maybe it wouldnt happen at all? Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
