After trying and discarding 4 different types of pills, my doc put me on Yasmin and I am very happy. I had KILLER cramps always, and the D always accompanied them. I went off Yasmin one month in the last two years because I made a mistake with the pack, and the cramps were so bad that month that I really realized how much the Yasmin had been doing for me. It uses a different hormone than the other brands, so it is worth a try if you haven't had any luck in the past. I also second the other post about Aleve. If you take 2 (with food) the second you start feeling bad, they are amazing. Although, now that I'm on Yasmin, I seem to be fine. I also really like Excedrine, because the combo of tyelonl and asprin plus caffeine (yeah yeah I know we're not supposed to) really helps a lot.
