You can buy flaxseed meal (not the whole seed); in each 2-tablespoon "serving" there is 1.3 grams of soluble fiber and 2.7 grams of insoluble fiber. Flax is also a good source of omega-3 fatty acids.

One good source for flaxseed meal is Bob's Red Mill foods. They have a lot of gluten-free and organic products.
