Atkins Diet Craze       04/30/04 05:47 PM Edit Reply Quote LindaF Reged: 04/30/04 Posts: 1 Loc: San Antonio, Texas I had to respond to this whole Atkins Craze. I have had minor tummy issues for the past 15 years. However, my husband went on the Atkins diet about a year ago, and I began cooking "The Atkins" way. I have never felt worse in my life! I lost over 10 pounds (keep in mind I only weigh 100) which is a significant amount on me! Finally after months of heartburn, doctor visits, and an IBS diagnosis, I found Heather's website. I have felt 95 percent better following this diet. I am not sure why I didn't make the connection, because I used to eat similar to this diet, but I cannot stress how bad the Atkins diets is for people with IBS! P.S. I have not had any trouble with weight following Heathers diet. This whole Atkins/Carb thing is just the current diet craze, and not very healthy either! Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
