I think people can react differently to the barium. If your prone to D than that just might be the way your body is dealing with it. If it doesn't let up in an hour or two, I would call your dr. I agree, you probably shouldn't take anything to stop it, best to get it out, no matter how unpleasant! Be careful not to get dehydrated and make yourself eat a little something. Even if its just a piece of toast or some rice. Getting something in your tummy might help settle it. Could you have some tea? If you get real crampy try using the heating pad, that always helps me!
