Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Equalactin

Hello

I live in the UK and have recently received my shipment of Equalactin from the States as it's not available in the UK. I'm not sure how often to take it. At the moment I'm on two anti-spasmodics(Colofac/mebeverine) and Colpermin (Peppermint oil) which I take 3 times every day at least 20 minutes before meals. I pretty much had my IBS under control last year with only 2 'episodes' but this year my symptoms have taken a dramatic downturn and I'm suffering. At the start of the year I was really constipated with bloating and now I'm still bloated every day but have small BM's then every few days I seem to explode! It happened again last night and the time before that was last Thursday night. The next day is painful as I wake up bloated, which gets worse as the day moves on.
I'm really sorry to sound so negative, if you'd caught me last year I was practically giddy with the improvement in my IBS! Any advice would be gratefully received. Is there any chance Equalactin can make symptoms worse? I'm not sure if my attacks are a result of what I've just eaten or a build up of a few days. At the moment, I do feel a bit like a ticking bomb, knowing that an episode could be imminent, but no idea where or when�..
