It's fat. Fat, more than 25% in one meal, is a no-no. You have to calculate the percentage you're having. You can try the reduced-fat peanut butter (which I eat), but again, calculate the fat:
Total grams of fat x 9 = calories/fat Divided by total calories = percentage of fat
Say, for example, Soy Dream vanilla has 7g. total fat per serving and 140 calories.
7 x 9 = 63 63 divided by 140 = 45% fat. WAY TOO HIGH (by itself)!
Now, take Jif reduced fat creamy peanut butter:
Total fat = 12g. Calories = 190
12 x 9 = 108 divided by 190 = 57% fat! WOW! (BUT -- how much fat is the bread you're putting it on? That's gonna reduce the TOTAL PERCENTAGE of that meal.)
