Hey, you can post 100 times in a day if you want - don't even worry about that! 
Did you read through all the diet stuff yet? You can always try the EFI diet while you're waiting for the appointment and see if it helps. Peppermint tea is great for pain, so try that too. If you know you have the pain around 3pm, maybe try to head it off by having a cup of peppermint tea after lunch?
Also, if you're C, try getting in lots of water, some excercise, and whatever you do - DON'T give up insoluble fiber. Eat them as often as you can pureed, cooked, etc, and always with soluble fiber.
