No! It's beneficial for us. As Heather said, "Fish fats are NOT at all the same as meat fats. There ton's of evidence showing that fatty fish, like salmon, can help prevent heart disease. . . . salmon, tuna, flax, soy, walnuts, avocados, olive oil - these should all help, not hurt."

See p. 122 of "The First Year": "Fatty fish such as tuna and salmon ... contain omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids, which can have an inflammation-reducing effect on the colon." the flax seed oil capsules provide over 1,500mg. of these omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids per 2-capsule serving. They're "important for ... digestive support."
