That's funny that's it's Markham-Stouffville, I actually grew up in Markham before my family moved to Sarnia (I live in London now), and I remember that when that hospital opened my class took a trip of it! It wouldn't be too far for me if it was worth it, I still go back there fairly often to see friends and stuff...but I'm going to try my regular doctor and see.
The thing I'm worried about is that the GI doctor is apparently a friend of my regular doctor (that's why he referred me to him) so I don't want to go back and be like "wow I hated that guy!" But, at the same point in time I need to get them to do more, because this is just too darn frustrating.
Thanks again though for all your advice, I'll see what my doc says first and go from there!
