Don't know, Kel, but I think mine has always been there... at least for the last 10 or 15 years. I'm 33 now and remember for sure that drinking beer in college always made me uncomfortably bloaty and painful. My hangovers were in the bathroom, not headaches. I have ALWAYS had a horrible time with D right before my period. That's been since it started. And I've always gotten tummy aches when I was over-tired. My mom has those two issues, too. I just figured it was a weird genetic thing. Now I see it may be part of a bigger scenario!

I have always gotten a "flippy" stomach when stressed out, too. In fact I've always been able to tell when something bad had happened to friends or family 'cause my stomach would flip! I learned to check the clock and wait to see later what had happened. I'd find out and sure 'nuff it was always at the time my stomach went crazy. Isn't THAT odd!?

Aside from noticing those things, though, I never really followed things up mentally. If I had D in the morning, I would not bother to figure out why. It just was always there and I never gave it much thought. It got worse over the last 5 years 'til I HAD to think about it. In retrospect it's been a while that fatty foods made me ill and being sleepy made me ill... I just never thought about it before!
