No, I wouldn't want to take it regularily. I intend on just using it for emergencies or for those really long workdays when I don't have access to the Acacia. I just wasn't sure if I took it for an emergency when I'm still on such a low dose of Acacia, if it might do more harm than good.
As for the Acacia, I've been at that dose a little over a week, and I plan to start inreasing a little next week I think. I'm relatively stable...I still unfortunately have alternating problems but they're getting better. For example, last week Tuesday and Wednesday I had horrible D (not much pain though thankfully!) and then it just went away and now I'm already starting to feel C...it's frustrating.
My main problem is likely that I don't even have an "official" diagnosis yet (see the GI guy this Thursday) as no major tests have been done, it's just assumptive IBS...so I've still got to rule out other problems, but I'm trying to do things that would work even if it was cronh's or colitis as well.
