Hey, Girlfriend, congrats on getting the stuff. You have yourself a terrific dad. Hold onto him!

I don't take Equalactin on a regular basis. Is that what you are intending to do? Why? You have the acacia, and you're slowly increasing it? (REAL slowly I hope.) That's great.

Then why are you also going to take the Equalactin regularly? Are you cramped up? I look at the stuff as more an emergency supplement, something to take when I have cramps coming on or a real stressful event coming up. I don't take it every day -- in fact, I don't even remember the last time I took it.

Are you stable? How's your tummy?

I think you should concentrate on the acacia on a regular basis, and slowly increase the acacia. 1/2 teaspoon is very little; how long have you been on that dosage? It might be too soon for you to begin increasing it if you haven't been on it long.

I started out at 1 teaspoon 3 months ago and now I'm at 3 tablespoons -- so I tripled my dosage over a 3 month period. However, I started increasing it too quickly and had cramping, bloating and gas; I had to drop back to my original dosage and start slower.

I just don't think you want to substitute one for the other, unless of course you're not doing well with the acacia? Actually, you might not like the Equalactin at all, so you should give it a try when you need it. Stick a supply in your purse for emergencies; a time will come when you'll be SOOO glad you did, Girlfriend!
