So many doctors seem to just not get it, just how bad all the pain we endure is and all that we go through. Most do the tests to be sure it is nothing "more serious" and then say it's just IBS, take more fibre and dismiss us. They really don't understand what foods bother us or what over the counter meds to try for various problems like gas or whatever.
Aside from forcing all GI's to read Heather's book what words of wisdom would you give if our list could go to every doctor out there. (pain, foods, job problems, relationship problems, supplements that work, how bad them make us feel, anything)
