Traumatizing Experiences       03/18/04 11:14 AM Edit Reply Quote Kimm Reged: 03/10/04 Posts: 1171 Loc: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hello again!! Sorry to keep bugging you guys....but I was just going through my list of docs appointments coming up and found an old referral note to a psychiatrist. My GI suggested a while ago that people who have traumatizing experiences as a child sometimes end up with IBS. He said that for many their IBS sypmtoms can be alleviated after talking about these experiences with a psychiatrist. I'm a little skeptical....and haven't made any appointment....
