Hi. I definitely have been in your situation, and I know that it feels like only you know what your body is going through and that it's very serious, but know that in the large scheme of things it's not so bad. What I was told when I had my fears of blockage was that I would definitely KNOW if I did. It's incredible, sharp pain and causes vomiting (because it's gonna come out through one end or the other!).
Any way, even though I've been told it is impossible to know how much stool is in your body by feeling the abdomen, I do believe you know your body better than anybody else does, and I truly believe I know when I'm "backed up," 'cause I can recognize it in my body. Please do see the doctor to make sure everything is alright, and in the mean time, I will give you my most simple, safe, personal solution to c troubles: drink lots of water! 1. You need it. 2. Sometimes, if you drink your recommended intake of water throughout the day AND a few glasses of water before you go to bed, you'll find that your body's reaction is to poop the next morning. Sometimes it does the trick, sometimes it doesn't, but either way, the water is a good idea (water is always good, no?). Take care, and let us know how everything is going, okay?
