I had my first angelfood post-ibs, too - this New Year's Eve. These days I snack on apple sauce (mott's healthy harvest strawberry flavor or applesauce and cinnamon - yum), heather's indian chai milk tea - smells really comforting, honey glazed rice chex (just spray with PAM, mix with honey and pop in microwave - there's a snack mix version of this in heather's book I adapted this from). I also like cream of rice or rose rice with soymilk topped with berries or bananas and chopped almonds. blender drinks are awesome 'cause you can't mess them up and there are endless possibilities. I liked the idea someone made of carrots and hummis 'cause I'm not doing well with bread these days. And I'm excited you're from Columbia, 'cause I'm in Baltimore, and I feel like there's no one on the boards around here. I saw a great concert in Columbia once, how do you like living there?
