I finally went to see a Surgeon. He did a sigmoid and did see Internal Hemorroids.Also noticed my UC is more up my colon. Up to 31/2 inches now. He believes this is where most of the bleeding is coming from and maybe a little from the hemorroids. He opts not too remove the hemorroids because of all the inflamation in my colon from UC I would not heal after the surgery! He has adviced my too see a GI specialist, which I am waiting too see (waiting for appt.). He believes I should have a colonoscopy done (whooppee!! ) and get the second opinion on the removal of the hemorroids. I am still taking iron supplements and now on Vit. B12 1000mcg. for low iron and blood count. Wondering why I was feeling more tired than usual. Anyways I was wondering what you are doing for your hemorroids? I still don't have pain or itching but just a little discomfort once in awhile. Take care of your self and hoping you are feelin much better. Sue Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
