Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Still having morning gas cramps-Arrgh!

Ok, I've been tryng to stick with my diet and not eating too many insoluable and eating as little fat as possible. Im still taking the Benefiber-which I know can cause some gas-but I have my gas before I've even had anything in me in the morning. I wake up to it. Ive also tried to get in exercise after dinner(usually just a short walk or some push-ups and sit-ups) and take beano before dinner(just in case

)
What else can I do? Shoudl I take some Gas-X before I hit the sack? Would peppermint caps do anyting? Actully, if I can crack this gas problem, my IBS worries will be greatly reduced.
I also am looking into priobiotics for this on Bevs recommendation, and I know theres some discussion on here about them. I read that you need to find the live ones becuase the dead ones are pretty much useless, but I dunno what kind of brnads to look at. Who works well? Where can I find some(does GNC carry them)?

As always, I seek your wise words. Any help is appreciated.
