Diverticulus Attack       02/18/04 04:10 PM Edit Reply Quote ArtKen Reged: 07/12/03 Posts: 301 Loc: Brantford, Ontario, Canada Going through which was diagnosed yesterday by my family physician as a diverticulus attack. Not a major one but I have some minor bouts of constipation and then of course other way. My quandry seems to be diet. My local naturopath is saying various probiotics, white bread and and various herbal teas, ginger, fennel and peppermint. My family physician wants me to increase antibiotic and definitely not take probiotics until after finishing prescription. This confirms what a family physician stated on the All Experts network that I sometimes use. Wondering if those of you who have had a diverticulus attack find the best to get over the bout.
