As soon as I feel them starting to flare up, I use one of the suppositories my doctor prescribed for me. I usually feel better within 30-45 minutes. They go in pretty easy, alot better than when I had to use enemas for my Crohn's. I also use the pads with witch hazel to wipe myself during these times. I also use the pads when I am doing a colonoscopy prep. They do help. I have a lot of problems with fatigue since my diagnosis with Crohn's and IBS. Sometimes I think I may have fibromylgia since I seem to have a lot of the symptoms, but other times I think it is just form the pain. I'm not in pain constantly, but I think we have definitely have more pain because of IBS. And pain is tiring. I try and give myself more breaks and just accept the fact that I don't have the energy I used to sometimes. I still do what I want to do, it just takes a little longer sometimes.
