I forgot yesterday to mention that I have eaten these alternative grains, spelt, quinoa, amaranth etc. for quite a while and they seem to be fine. I had not eaten much wheat because it seemed to stuff up my nose and also made me bloated. I now tried your suggestion of sourdough bread and have eaten it the last couple of days. So I guess I just have to experiment....
Also: I don't understand that I was able to eat nonfat yogurt for a long time and have no problem. I don't eat it now or only a little spoon full in the evening before going to the bathroom. It seems to help my digestion (I do take psyllium husk powder). So, experiment with the yogurt, too? I do miss it very much. What do other foks do with that yogurt craving? Gisela
