Hey all. Recently diagnosed with IBS. Found this site and ordered the book Eating for IBS. The information in it has changed my life immediatly. My doctor did not have a lot of info so I did a google search. I now understand this condition and have become comfortable with it in two weeks.
I have been a construction worker for 20 years and my diet consisted of trigger foods, and a salad. No more. The transistion has been very easy considering the alternative life of discomfort. I like the recipes in the book and the information on how to eat. I did not see any recipes for Halibut or swordfish. Tonight I had long grain and wild rice seasoned and cooked in chicken broth, grilled Halibut(pam spray) with lemon and sliced papaya. Very simple and healthy. Normal Sunday night fare would be Rib-eye, baked potato, with bad things on it, and a salad.
I just want to say thank you and I wish you much success. Your book and site has changed years of misery to a healthier existence!
