Re: Is it best to take Citrucel in the morning?       02/06/04 07:55 PM Edit Reply Quote sequoia Reged: 02/04/04 Posts: 7 Loc: Oregon I usually take a whole scoop of citrucel right before lunch and I'm just starting to take a 1/2 scoop right before or after dinner. I used to take a whole scoop just in the evening but I would get real bad cramps before my morning bm. I thought it was because between dinner and the fiber, I wasn't getting enough water with the amount of food I was eating (and I would have to pee all night if I did). I would love to start taking some in the morning but, like you, I don't think I'd be very consistent since I'm late for work most of the time! BTW, I also have to pee ALOT about and hour after the fiber if I drink the recommended extra glass of water, so I've cut it down to an extra 1/2 glass and just drink more throughout the day.
