Quick, Cheap, Non-Microwave Lunch Ideas       01/29/04 09:59 AM Edit Reply Quote Jennifer Rose Reged: 04/02/03 Posts: 3566 Loc: Fremont, CA When my school starts up next week, my schedule is going to become very crazy on Mondays and Wednesdays! On those two days, I'll be up at 5:00am to get to work at 7:00am; then I'll leave work at lunch time from 11:30am-1:30pm to attend a class; then I'll leave work at 5:00pm at the end of the day to attend a 6:15pm class that lasts till 9:30pm. Eating is going to be very hectic on these days. I looked over the lunch ideas from the past, but noticed a lot of them have to be microwaved. I need lunch and dinner ideas that do not require a microwave that I can pack in the morning (and won't go bad with an ice pack in my lunch bag by the end of the day!). My boss won't let me eat anything that smells (or looks like a whole meal) at my desk since she says the aroma fills the office too much. Also, I will probably be eating a lot of my meals in the car. There are cafeterias at the school and I might be able to use a microwave for my night class, but definitely won't have time during my day class. Here's what I have so far: Tuna Sandwich Turkey Sandwich Pasta Salad Any other suggestions would be great!
