Actually, the Drs office called back and apologized profusely. The Dr gave me a better explanation of why he doesn't use the IBS dx. He says he doesn't like to lump everyone in one category because the symptoms and treatment are so varied. He looks at the symptoms and rules out other diseases, then treats the problem symptoms presented. This makes more sense to me than just believing no one has IBS, so I don't feel so discounted. He was very nice, and I have to admit it is difficult to accomodate my free hours as I have to take the kids to school and pick them up so if I'm not done with an appointment I just have to leave. I have to admit I'm feeling hopeless as everyone who follow Heather's diet does so much better and I'm not. I hope they can find a reason. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
