It is just a digestive enzyme, which Heather has explained before. That made it seem less scary to me. Also, we have used both the tablets and the liquid --- the liquid says that it should not be cooked -- so I don't think adding it to soup as it cooks is a good idea. We sometimes put the liquid directly in food, but not when its hot, and definitely not while it's cooking. For hot foods, he uses the tablets. There are directions on the bottles which tell how many drops or tablets to use per serving. Hope that helps a little. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
