confused       01/21/04 04:44 PM Edit Reply Quote joanmarie Reged: 11/09/03 Posts: 667 Loc: iowa So I had my Gi Dr appt today. To start he had a bad cold so didn't feel good. He told me he doesn't really believe in IBS and said my symptoms don't sound like IBS at all. So he wants to test for lactose and fructose intolerance, and check my thyroid and some other hormone. I don't see how it could be lactose or fructose since I'm not eating those things now. Then, in the middle of the exam he was called out and took so long that I had to leave to pick up my kids. So I don't know what his final recommendation is or what I am to do next! To top things off I made the famous pasta and shrimp recipe and managed to even screw that up so that it looks like tapioca!
