Hi Laura! I have a couple of suggestions too. I agree with Bev, granola bars can be pretty risky sometimes. They contain some whole wheat ingredients and bother many people. Another big thing is getting to know when you can eat things that might bother you. Personally, I can't eat anything at all risky at night, even if I could have eaten that thing earlier in the afternoon. It seems like around 8 or 9 pm my tummy starts getting really touchy, so I try to eat lightly after that, only snacking on rice cakes or having a piece of safe quick bread and some herbal tea. Then again, I've heard of others who are just the opposite, and have trouble eating things in the morning. I guess it's all about learning what works best for your system!
