Hi,

I find stress is my biggest trigger and I can relate to the noises too.

I was just wondering if you are following Heather's diet or not? The biggest things that help me are:

1. Heather's diet (with no deviation)
2. Soluble Fiber Supps (2TBsp twice a day)- I like Benefiber
3. Exercise (walking my dogs 2km a day)
4. Daily Yoga/ relaxation tapes & meditation (for the stress)

The first three really help and they got me on the road to recovery for sure. I still find though that if I'm stressed the first three can't keep things normal alone. I really have to work at finding avenues to keep the stress at bay.

With children it can be hard to get any time to yourself but I really feel it is essential to get that each day. I will do whatever it takes to get that time out walking my dogs as it really helps me to unwind. Sometimes I do feel guilty thinking I should be spending that time with my son but I know that if I don't get that time to myself, I will get stressed, the IBS flares dramatically which leads to him missing out on more of my time. (or putting up with sick, cranky mummy!)
