Hi Digby - been there too -

One of the conundrums (did I spell that right?) with IBS and using hypnotherapy, is that it works best if you do not read, write or research about it - however, I know how hard that is because that's all I did to try to find solutions for the IBS... but if you can avoid researching, it may help ease the worry and the severity/frequency of attacks.

The fennel and peppermint teas are very helpful too - I doubt the ice cream 'caused' it - I was down to crackers and water at one point years ago, and I begged my gastro to put me on IV nutrition!! - But I got D no matter what I did or did not eat - So be patient with yourself and know that you can beat this...
