Hi,

Does anyone know if tamarind is safe for a combined EFI/FODMAP diet. According to the USDA tamarind nectar has, per 100g, 6.07g of fructose and 5.92g of glucose. From a fructose perspective it is safe. I understand it's in the legume family so potentially has galactans? I also imagine, in it's raw/natural (ie not concentrate/juice) state, it is high in IF.

Any thoughts/information would be appreciated.
