Prebiotics

I regularly take a probiotic and find that this helps my IBS symptoms. I'm keen feed these good bacteria with prebiotics. However, I follow the EFI/FODMAP diet and have discovered that getting prebiotics, from food, is difficult as the top food sources (soluble dietary fibre and inulin) contain FODMAPs (fructans; onions, leeks, garlic etc.) I know Heather's fibre supplement is prebiotic; however, I don't take a fibre supplement. Similarly, most prebiotic supplements contain inulin and oligofructose, both of which are not allowed on the FODMAP diet. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can introduce prebiotics into my diet without upsetting my IBS symptoms?
