Welcome to the board,

Regular tea has caffeine which is a strong GI stimulant. Heather says "Tea is not a safe replacement beverage, however; both black and green teas contain caffeine (problematic for IBS) and tannins (not good for reflux)."

White and brown sugar is okay.
