Yes in the paper they say "The concept of a 'high fructose load' has not been evaluated in terms of its importance in the success of the diet." I think they included the notion of high fructose load in the paper because they had not tested the possibility of it existing. In subsequent publication I have not seen it mentioned. If it were a problem then we would have difficulties with sucrose but I like you have not found any problems with sucrose or fruit juices that have equal or greater amount of glucose compared to fructose.
