always shake up rice milk before use. then it's not as thin. otherwise it's quite different in taste from soya milk. v sweet, great for cereals or sweet dishes, not that great for other things. there are flavoured varieties but even the plain stuff is v sweet tasting I find. v unlikely to cause any GI complaints though (as long as it's from white rice, not brown rice) so should work well instead of soya milk in general. just shake before use!

[I've tried VSL#3 -> I could tolerate v good amounts of IF (even with less SF), it worked great (but overall I find it too expensive)]
