Hi everyone. I've recently returned to the EFI diet due to a bad flare-up of symptoms, especially bloating and severe cramping just to the left of my navel.
For the bloating, I bought the fennel tea. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to tolerate the taste. Even though I know it would help so much, I cannot get myself to drink more than a sip or two.
I just ordered the peppermint caps, so hopefully those will help a bit.
Is there anything else specific I should try for bloating? I've tried Gas-X, digestive enzymes, and probiotics. Some days, my stomach will inflate so huge, which looks pretty strange on my 100 lb. frame. It's hard to hide, even under sweaters. But the pain is the real problem. I'm so bloated, it hurts to inhale at times.
Thanks for your help. I'm just getting started again on the diet after years of not needing it, so I know it will take some time to stabilize.
