I need constipating fibre       12/28/11 12:46 PM Edit Reply Quote dixonpete Reged: 12/28/11 Posts: 1 I've been using Heather's fibre product but apparently it's not enough. I'm Celiac with IBS. I have a surgically damaged, zero resting muscle tone internal sphincter. Since a fix is impossible my surgeon recommends Imodium and fibre that would gum me up. Currently my stools have the consistency of a paste which my external sphincter has a difficult time blocking. Any suggestions on the fibre type that would work best?
