I use an adhoc recipe that varies depending on my mood Generally here is how it goes for a serving for 2 people.
Warm 1/2 cup homemade chicken stock with 1/4-1/2 cup red wine. Add herbs and spices such as basil, oregano,etc and garlic and onions if you can handle them. Let stand for 30-60 minutes to let the flavors from the herbs and spices infuse the mixture. Strain mixture, add 3-4 tablespoons of pure tomato paste, salt and pepper to taste and simmer on low heat until sauce reaches consistancy you want. You can always add more stock to thin or more tomato paste to thicken sauce. Add cooked carrots or other cooked veggies that you can handle and diced cooked chicken, tuna or other suitable protein. Serve over pasta or noodles.
That is the general approach. It can be modified to personal taste preferences.
