Pasta is usually made from white flour unless the package specifically says it is made from whole wheat flour. Whole wheat pasta is high in insoluble fiber.

Whole wheat pasta has about 11 grams of insoluble fiber per 100 grams while regular pasta has just about equal amounts of both soluble and insoluble fiber - close to 2 grams of each per 100 grams.

What are you eating with the pasta? Do other wheat products give you problems? Have you been tested for Celiac disease?
