The break the cycle should be used for just a few days. It is important not to remove protein from your diet. You need about 0.8 grams of protein per 1 kilogram body weight. If you are active you need a bit more. Fish, seafood and the white meat from poultry is IBS safe and shouldn't promote C. Does the high oil/fat content of avocados not bother your IBS-C?

Can you give us a list of meals and snacks you have eaten in past 2-3 days? It may give us some clues for more advice/
