I have IBS-C, too, and I know how frustrating it can be when you can't go like you know you're supposed to!! I take lots of the fiber supplements like you do, (along with Heather's IBS diet), and I now drink SO MUCH water and tea every day. Do you drink as much as Heather recommends? It's a LOT, and I had to be really strict about that at first until I made it habit. She recommends 120+ ounces/day!! I never go anywhere w/o a water bottle or a thermal carafe of hot tea. Have you tried different types of fiber? I know some work better than other for me. I really hope you'll feel better soon! Oh... and when I'm crampy at all, I always curl up in bed or in a comfy chair with my heating pad. It sometimes brings relief within minutes!
