You can safely eat chicken but I would stick to chicken breasts because they are leaner. Pork generally isn't a good idea for IBS. However you could eat turkey (substitute ground turkey or chicken for ground beef) and you can eat fish. You don't have to become a vegetarian. It's mainly the red meats that are higher in fat and can cause problems.
