I have found that taking 3 mg of melatonin at bedtime for a few days relieves the pain considerably. It is available from a health food store. Melatonin regulates GI pain and acts in concert with serotonin to regulate GI motility. I can give you more details if you wish. In your signature line you indicate you are IBS-C yet in the body of the text you speak about BM every morning.
