Since red meat is a trigger food due to the proteins being hard to digest, I'm assuming beef broth is off-limits too? I found a meat-free pasta recipe that calls for beef broth but I'm wondering if I should substitute chicken broth. If the beef broth is not a problem, it would be nice to be able to use it for variety.

Also, I didn't see any specific mention of olives in the book. Are they a trigger food, or insoluble fiber?

* Olives are very high fat - they press olive oil from them. -nt -
